Information about the Exercise Pole
All pole orders must be signed for upon delivery (please contact us if you would like the signature requirement waived).
All our Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® pole products are top-quality. When installed correctly with the bolt in mount you can do spins, inversions and anything you can think of.
The Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® is removable. The pole itself does not bolt to the floor or ceiling. The standard ceiling mount does require 1 bolt into a joist which can be found using a stud finder. If you can't put a bolt into your ceiling, you'll find the friction ceiling mount for the Pro Pole (only) still allows you to do many moves on the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx®, although the pole cannot withstand as large a side load as the bolted mount. To use the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® friction ceiling mount, you must still find a joist to straddle using the stud finder included in every kit.
The Exercise PoleTM Pro Pole by Lil' Mynx® is fully portable! The seam in the center of the pole has a machine polished finish and is smooth to the touch. The center adapter is machined billet aluminum for strength and durability. All other poles we sell are a single piece pole and can be removed and stored.
The removable nature of the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® offers the flexibility of only having the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® in place when you want to use it. You regain the space in your room when the pole is not in use. You can simply store the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® under your bed, behind the couch, or in a closet when finished.
The Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® are 2 inch in diameter (except for the Petite Pole which is 1.75" diameter) and come standard to adjust in length to be used with an 8-10 foot ceiling. If your ceiling height is less than 8 feet we can make a shorter pole at no additional charge. Please enter this information when purchasing your Exercise Pole. The main body of the pole is approximately 8 feet on all poles, except custom. This is the useable dance area of the pole. The slider tube (the smaller adjustable tube that couples the ceiling mount) can never be used as a part of the dance area..
While the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® was designed with carpeted floors in mind we offer a small pad for use on non-carpeted floors as well, including hardwood, tile, cement, etc.
The Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® is easy to install. It takes less than 10 minutes for the initial installation and weighs a mere 20 lbs. The simple design incorporates a unique ceiling mount, disguised as a plant hook for discretion, that requires only a single screw into a main joist in the ceiling. A patent pending threaded compression system holds the Exercise PoleTM by Lil' Mynx® in place. It can handle a person up to 200 pounds. When the pole is put away all you have left is a functional plant hook in the ceiling. After initial installation it takes only seconds to put up or take down, with no tools needed.
